What Do We Believe?

The Bible: We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to man and that the 66 books of the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit, are inerrant and infallible in the original manuscripts. We also believe that God, by His singular care and providence, has preserved His Word pure in all ages. We believe the Bible is to serve as our final authority in all areas of belief and practice.

God: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Mankind: We believe that humankind was personally and uniquely created in God’s image and after His likeness by the direct act of God. We believe that Adam and Eve were the first two humans created by God in a state of positive holiness and righteousness. We believe that Adam willfully sinned against God and through his sin all of his offspring were constituted sinners and separated from God. We believe that humanity is personally powerless to overcome the consequences of sin and completely dependent upon God for any hope of salvation.

Salvation: We believe that salvation is the free gift of God’s grace attained through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

Eternality: We believe that all humans will exist somewhere forever, the saved unto life eternal with God, and the lost unto conscious, eternal damnation.
